There were some huge wins in Round 17 of the Betfred Championship!
The result of the round arguably goes to Barrow Raiders, who overturned an unbelievable 28-0 deficit to beat Dewsbury Rams, 39-28.
It was a fascinating tale of two halves as the Rams ran riot at the home of the Raiders, scoring five tries.
The game looked to be well and truly sealed at the break, but an unimaginable comeback by Paul Crarey’s men saw the hosts completely dominate the second half and run in 28 unanswered points to level the match with ten minutes to go.
With tensions high, Brad Walker’s dramatic drop goal put Barrow in front for the first time, before Curtis Teare’s try sealed the victory and sent the home crowd into raptures, leaving Dewsbury speechless.
Also on Saturday, Swinton completed their first league double in 2026, beating Midlands. The Lions were leading 24-0 by the 46th minute and only conceded once throughout the 80 minutes.
Goole Vikings crossed the whitewash nine times to defeat Keighley, including braces from Harvey Horne and Liam Watts.
Meanwhile, Newcastle Thunder continued their dominance nilling Rochdale on home soil, as did Widnes who were ruthless against Hunslet away from home.
The Halifax Panthers were also ruthless at Colwyn Bay and now find themselves on zero league points, having eradicated a 12-point deduction.
It’s an eleventh straight win for Oldham, who beat Batley Bulldogs with tries from Tom Nisbet (x2), Jack Walker and Jake Bibby, as well as Morgan Smith’s perfect record with the boot.
Elsewhere, Salford are just two points away from the Play-Offs, following their big victory over Workington. A points fest unfolded at the Salford Community Stadium, but ten tries from the Reds was more than enough.
Finally, Sheffield returned to winning ways with a convincing win over Whitehaven to strengthen their chances in the Play-Off race.
It's tight at the top with Newcastle and Barrow closing in on league leaders London Broncos, whilst Oldham and Widnes aren't too far behind, making up the top five.
The other five Play-Off spots are still very much up for grabs, with little to separate the teams from 6th to 12th, especially...
